About us and our vision
Free Panchang began with a simple wish: that anyone, anywhere, should be able to look up today’s panchang or make their kundli for free, without ads, sign-ups or clutter.
Why we created Free Panchang
Most panchang and kundli sites are crowded with ads, pop-ups and paid upsells. Many people, especially elders and first-time learners, just want to know today’s tithi, when Rahu Kaal starts, or what their birth chart looks like. We wanted to give them a calm, clean place to do that.
So we built Free Panchang and a free Kundli: simple to use, free for everyone, with no ads and privacy-friendly. Calculations use the Lahiri ayanamsa and work for any city on Earth, in English and in Hindi.
For learners, and in support of astrologers
We are not against astrologers. We have deep respect for the knowledge and experience they bring. Free Panchang is meant for learners and curious people, to help them understand the panchang and astrology in an easy way.
Astrologers are warmly welcome to use it too, and to share it with their followers and clients as a free reference. A good tool in more hands means more people come to the subject with understanding and respect.
Our motive is simple
There is no hidden agenda here. We are not competing with anyone and we mean no harm to anyone’s work. This is a community service, and it will stay free.
